Gotta have one of these threads. I appreciate people who can think outside of the box, but the Dumbledore Denial craze is scary, even worse than the Sirius Denial. I couldn't believe his death myself at first, but he's dead and gone. He bought the farm, bit the dust, pushed up daises, saw the light, and is taking one very long nap. I loved Dumbledore like the grandfather I never had, but all of the crazy theories in the world won't undo the AK. Let the wizard rest in peace.

He's so gone. But Harry's got plenty of role-models left, DD was just the most powerful and coolest. I was really sad to hear J.K. dis on dumbledoreisnotdead.com by tellin everyone he ain't comin' back in the last book. How could she give so much away like that?!

She wanted to silence the crazy delusional (not shippers, for once) DD Denial theorists. I can't blame her. The kind of "DD has a Horcrux!" "OMG he used a Polyjuice Potion!" "He switched bodies with Aberforth!!" were just like... no, just please no. He was almost defiling his memory with how far people were going with it. Let the man rest in peace, I say (again)!

I say J.K. wasn't too smart to give the public that much critical info this far before the book is coming out. It's not going to affect the sales but come on. It definitely takes away a little mystery and possibility.

Mystery? She had pretty much debunked Dumbledore as still being alive in any way before HBP was even done with! She's giving the rest of us sane theorists a little more sanity and peace to say that Dumbledore is dead for sure.

Puhlease. She ruined the mystery. No matter how many clues she may have dropped there was always hope until she went and ruined it.

BtW, you call yourself sane?
