Alright here's the jeans theory in its essence. Basically, what most people like isn't always the best of that thing that there is.
For pants, jeans are uncomfortable and there are better pants out there that are more comfortable and come in more colors than jeans.
For shoes, birkenstocks look like you stuck your foot in a potato.
For operating systems, linux is more customizable and is less prone to crash than windows.
And so on and so forth.

So what are some things you think are better than what most people like?
Why don't you think most people like what you do?
How powerful is the media and the "in crowd's" influences?

Yayy nonconformity! I do like jeans, though, because you can wear them with pretty much anything. They aren't great for lounge wear, but they are essential for dirty work. I don't like them skin-tight or super baggy, though, just right.

Capris. Noo capris. They annoy me, kind of. It's like "Make up your mind! Are you pants or shorts?"

I like wearing what's comfortable over what's painful and ugly anyway. Some say beauty is pain, I say if you have to go through pain to be a superficial beautiful, it isn't worth it.

I'm not a big spender on clothes. Designer labels mean nothing to me. As long as it looks good TO ME and feels good TO ME, I'm buying it and wearing it ddsm/smile.gif .

I like Windows just because it's easier to use for this semi-computer illiterate person. I can look at laptops/desktops that aren't Dells because it isn't the brand that counts most, usually.

Okay, I'll save more ranting for later...

I think Windows is great for people new to the computer scene but if you really want something custom and suited to your needs, go with linux or something! Haven't tried it yet, but I'll definitely give it a try.

I think comfort is esential to clothes, thus why I don't wear jeans. But i am partially hypocritical in that I wear converse chuckie t's. They're just so pimpin! I couldn't stand not to have three pairs!

I'll doubtedly ever wear capris but I think they started out with the best of intentions like bell-bottoms: give your ankles some breathing room, but they just go overboard and nasty a lot. They're very big in Europe though, especially in Germany and France.

I wish I could make my own custom t-shirts. I just want to be different and say something different that no one else is saying. You know? Claim my self and shout it in others' faces.

I don't think males could pull off capris, but that's just my opinion ddsm/ph34r.gif...

Shirts don't exactly shout unless they are like I LUV HOT DOGS in all caps and red/shiny stuff all over the place, but I agree, they do help to carry on whatever message you are sending or want to send to other people.

I especially love the site cafepress.com for semi-custom t-shirts. people have already designed them and they're ready to ship but the selection is soooo wide. I'm lookin at gettin a whirled peas shirt. Oh yeah.

You got something against dude's ankles?! What if capris make them feel silky? A guy deserves to feel silky every now and then! Yeah.... silky

"Sometimes grown-ups like to wear... stretchy pants..." ddsm/happy.gif Eh?

They can feel silky on their own time. Meanwhile, please wear socks that cover your nasty ankles and pants that cover your hairy shins.

Gah. You're such a societal follower. I can't wait till you realize that our society isn't perfect because it forces people to be uncomfortable for absolutely no reason. Case in point are suits. Society forces you to be uncomfortable whereas you might even be more productive if you were more comfortable and got to wear what you wished. Come on. Second point being school uniforms. There's no reason to have uniforms no matter how much the Man says it makes the school more presentable or how it shows how united everyone is. That cowpies. They just want you to conform to their idea of what looks best to show up the other schools because they don't care about whether you want to be comfortable or not or your self expression through clothing.

But I could go on and on. Point is it doesn't matter what kind of genitals you have or if you have hairy ankles or not. It matters if you are comfortable and happy no matter what society or the Man tells you.
